The 2022 Methods Summit Proceedings Report documents a multi-stakeholder convening led by the Innovation and Value Initiative that examined how health technology assessment (HTA) can better define, measure, and reward innovation. The event highlighted six key themes, including the need for clearer definitions of innovation, broader societal and patient-centered perspectives, improved use and sharing of data, targeted methods research, and better alignment of incentives to support high-value innovation in healthcare.
