Alexandria, VA – April 4, 2025 – The Center for Innovation & Value Research today announced that Dr. Jason Spangler has made the decision to step down as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective April 30, 2025.
During his tenure, Dr. Spangler helped strengthen the organization’s national leadership in advancing patient-centered value research. In collaboration with the team, he helped the Center:
- Release its third value model, focused on major depressive disorder.
- Strengthen internal capacity and expand the member community.
- Sharpen the organization’s policy voice and complete a successful rebrand, significantly increasing visibility and influence.
“It has been an honor to lead such a dedicated and mission-driven organization,” said Dr. Spangler. “I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together and grateful to the staff, Board, and partners for their collaboration and support. I look forward to seeing what the organization achieves in its next chapter.”
The Board of Directors will launch a national search for the organization’s next executive leader. In the interim, the organization will be led by its executive leadership team to ensure continuity and sustained momentum.
