Status: Part-time (0.6-0.8 FTE | 24-32 hours/week)

IVI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit research and policy organization whose mission is to advance the science, practice, and use of patient-centered value assessment to support decisions that make healthcare more meaningful and equitable.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Executive Assistant to the CEO plays a central role in supporting the organization's leadership, external partnerships, and governance activities.
Working closely with the CEO, this role manages the scheduling and preparation for key meetings with funders, board members, adivsors, and strategic partners. The psoition helps ensure that the CEO's time is focused on the highest-impact priorities and that important relationships with external stakeholders are well coordinated.
This position regularly interacts with senior leaders across healthcare, policy, industry, and philanthropy and plays and important role in coordinating relationships with funders, board members, and external partners. The role also supports governance activities, including board and advisory committee meetings, helping ensure that meetings are well organized, materials are prepared, and follow-up actions are tracked.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, discrete, and comfortable coordinating across multiple senior stakeholders in a fast-paced virtual environment. This role requires strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to inertact professionally with senior leaders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive Support
- Manage the CEO's calendar and prioritize scheduling to ensure effective use of time
- Coordinate meetings with funders, sponsors, partners, board members, and other external stakeholders
- Organize internal leadership meetings and strategic discussions
- Prepare meeting agendas, background materials, and briefing documents
- Track follow-up actions and ensure next steps are communicated
Administrative & Meeting Coordination
- Support CEO travel planning and logistics as needed
- Assist with coordination for select meetings and strategic discussions
- Maintain organized digital records, meeting materials, and documentation
- Coordinate logistical details related to meetings and events, including honoraria and trave reimbursements for speakers and participants
Qualifications & Skills
- 3-5+ years of experience in executive support, nonprofit administration, healthcare, or similar roles
- Experience managing complex calendars and coordinating senior-level meetings
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote environment
- Familiarity with software like Zoom/Teams, Asana (project management software), Microsoft Office, and Glue Up (or similar CRM platforms)
- Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
Preferred
- Experience supporting nonprofit leadership, development activities, or board governance
- Experience coordinating meetings with funders, members, partners, or advisory groups
The strongest candidate will have experience supporting senior leadership in a nonprofit, foundation, think tank, policy organization, or mission-driven company.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This is a part-time, fully-remote position (0.6-0.8 FTE) with compensation commensurate with experience and the potential to expand to a full-time role. The organization offers a strong benefits package including health benefits, unlimited paid time off, and generous holiday leave. Part-time salary ranges between $35,000 and $68,000 annualy.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to ongoing research projects focused on patient-centered health technology assessment (HTA). IVI is seeking interns with an interest in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), qualitative research, and patient and community engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research Support: Assist in conducting literature reviews, data collection, and analysis for ongoing research projects related to HTA, health economics and outcomes research.
- Project Coordination & Support: Collaborate with the team to coordinate project activities, ensuring timelines are met and milestones achieved. Assist with outreach to and engagement of project partners, meeting facilitation, project reporting, and coordination of team members.
- Data Analysis: Utilize statistical tools and methodologies to analyze healthcare data, contributing to the development of insights and recommendations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Support staff in preparing clear and concise documentation of research methodologies, findings, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Content Creation: Assist in developing research summaries, blog posts, social media content, and other communications materials that translate complex health economics and outcomes research into accesible, engaging formats for diverse audiences.
- Science Communication and Outreach: Support the dissemination of research findings through presentations, webinars, and digital media, helping to bridge the gap between technical research and public understanding.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams within the organization to ensure the integration of diverse perspectives into research initiatives.
- Professional Development: Stay informed about advancements in the field of patient-centered HTA and contribute to the intellectual environment of the research team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Have an interest in patient engagement and patient-centered value research
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Be highly motivated and capable of working both collaboratively and independently
- Have the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a remote work environment
- Maintain a strong academic record
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Have valid U.S. work authorization
Preferred
- Enrolled in a graduate program focused on HEOR, public health, public policy, patient-centered outcomes research, or a related discipline
COMPENSATION
Compensation for the full internship term is $5000.
